The organisers of these protests must be fecking stupid...
A Saturday ??? At NOON ???
Whats the point...
A Monday morning, starting from Hamilton services 07:00 going slowly into along the M74 to M73 to M8 to Parliment, grinding commuter traffig to a halt causing tailbacks and gridlock in areas where excess traffic are trying to circumvent the go slow, it would be on the radio nationwide as a traffic report and would be bound to hit the evening news...
If really going for it, a repeat performance going the other way at 16:30 right through to the airport and back to Bothwell services...
A spokesman for the protest could go on air stating that this would go on every day till a substantial reduction was made (mind, we were at the 80p mark a year and a bit ago) and that he encourages all motorists in scotland to join the protest...
I'm sure, without a doubt, it would work...
Oh and to eliminate the targeting by the authorities of the people holding up the front, it simply has to be a bike overtaking a bike, overtaking a bike, overtaking a bike, etc... The back of the bikes are never seen (unless they use sneaky beaky whirly birds in the sky)...
I'v went too far already buy you get the point...
