Blind Chester - Forgotten in Georgia

Poor, sweet Chester. He stood and listened patiently, day in and day out, as happy people came by and whisked many of his pals off to their new "forever homes" and exciting rescue destinations, where they would finally be surrounded by warmth and love -- where they would finally know what it's like to feel wanted.

Nobody, however, came for dear, darling Chester. You see, Chester is blind -- and he's beginning to have doubts. He's starting to wonder whether anyone will ever be able to love a blind boy, like him. Still, though, Chester waits patiently for that special someone who will be able to look beyond his little "disability" to see what a good, handsome and truly loving boy he is...

Yes, adorable, Chester, the fuzzy BLIND SHEPHERD MIX still desperately needs a wonderful rescue or a special forever home. Is there anybody out there who can help him??

The good folks from Saving Georgia Dogs pulled Chester from a high-kill shelter, where they knew that he had NO chance of adoption. Thus far, however, they have been unable to find a suitable rescue or home for this sweet boy (can you believe it??), so he is currently being housed at a Georgia boarding kennel (NOT the best situation for a gentle blind boy, like Chester). The people at the pound estimated that Chester is 1-2 years old. Chester is heart-worm negative, and he has already been fully vetted. All he needs now is a loving rescue or home!

I'm told that Chester has a very sweet temperment and that he gets along well with other dogs. Although he is currently located in Georgia, I feel confident that we can help to find and arrange some sort of transportation to a reputable rescue or to a wonderful approved home.
