"CASPER" is a deaf dog with lots and lots of love to share! He is currently at the Flagler Humane Society in Palm Coast, Florida, but he's waiting on someone to take him to a FOREVER HOME!

Here's what they say about this guy:

Casper is about 5 months old as of 6-26-07. His previous owner had too many animals to care for. Casper is a friendly, playful boy and does well with the other shelter dogs. He is deaf, but could certainly see and feel all the love he needs from his new owner!

If you are interested in "CASPER" the Friendly Dog - contact the Flagler Humane Society at: PHONE: 386-445-1814 EMAIL: adopt@flaglerhumanesociety.org.

Thanks - Christy

Same as any other, except they cannot hear your vocal commands. A lot of folks sign, using either ASL or whatever hand signal they and their dogs can remember and understand. For example, drawing your hand flat palmed toward your chest is basic hand command for come. You have to have a fenced yard or dog always on lead because they cannot hear a "recall" when you call them back.
