ok ole fart where do i go to get the best deal or quality on sleves for this critter.. gonna get me a couple complete sets so when one goes i have a spare.. and what grit would you suggest i was leaning towards 120

Mmm gosh. I've never bought spindle sleeves I guess. Not that size, just the small drill press type.

John has a griz and seems happy with their sanding sleeves.

Wonder if Klingspor has those?

hey how far are yu from jon? could we make trip over to see him and his setup? hows he doing with his shoulder?

1 1/2 hour drive.

Ya if you want to.

His shoulder is doing good.

Then he pinched a nerve in his back. I think he's got that under control now. He went to the doc first.
I told him to go to a bone cracker, which he finally did. He had 1 leg 1 1/2" longer than the other, and got that taken care of.

what grit do you use on the spindles ????/ i was thinkun of 120 or a 80 aswell???

Yea. 80 for rough, 120 for finer work.
Not sure if you would need anything finer than 120
